Perioperative Interactive Education (PIE) is a team of experienced biomedical multimedia communication specialists at University Health Network. We partner with clinicians and patients to create educational materials that are elegant, captivating and scientifically accurate. It has always been our mandate to make these online resources freely available to patients and medical professionals around the world.

The PIE team has extensive experience creating online patient tools including multimedia websites, interactive applications, and patient pathways as well as patient videos for explaining surgical procedures and medical conditions. All of these resources are enhanced with high quality animations and graphics to assist patients in understanding the concepts being explained.

All our content is mobile-friendly and works on smartphones as well as on desktop computers and tablets.
