Mobile-friendly, interactive patient pathway for liver resections that acts as a guide for patients undergoing this operation. The pathway leads patients from preparation for the surgery, to having the surgical procedure, through the process of recovery in hospital following the procedure, and what to expect after discharge from the hospital.
This application was also customized for the McGill University Health Centre. The customized application has specific information for the hospital including phone numbers, waiting room information and other procedures unique to that facility.

Applications like this can provide a template for developing patient pathways for many other surgical procedures. More pathways are currently under development.
