Mobile-friendly, interactive patient pathways for pancreatectomy procedures (the whipple procedure, the distal and total pancreatectomy) that act as guides for patients undergoing these operations. The pathways lead patients from preparation for the surgery, to having the surgical procedure, through the process of recovery in hospital following the procedure, and what to expect after discharge from the hospital.
These applications can provide a template for developing patient pathways for many other surgical procedures. More pathways are currently under development.
