This mobile-friendly, interactive patient pathway for the Whipple operation guides patients from preparation for the surgery, to having the surgical procedure, through the process of recovery in hospital following the procedure, and what to expect after discharge from the hospital.
This application can provide a template for developing patient pathways for many other surgical procedures. More pathways are currently under development.
