Virtual Interactive Cases for Pharmacy

Virtual Interactive Cases allow students to practice assessing patients to determine what Drug Therapy Problems they may have, and which Care Plan actions to take in response to these problems.

Please review the instructions on the opening page of the case and carry out your assessment in a thorough but efficient way. When you feel you have completed your assessment, you can proceed to select the Drug Therapy Problems and appropriate Care Plan items for the patient.

Treat these cases as you would an encounter with a real patient by taking whatever notes you would normally record during your assessment.

Virtual Interactive Cases provide feedback at the end of the case regarding the rationale for the correct Drug Therapy Problems and Care Plan items. In the Debriefing of your assessment at the end of the case there is also feedback regarding the assessment items explaining why they are essential to the identification of the correct Drug Therapy Problems. You can click on these items to view this feedback.
