Welcome to the icuECMO website.

The icuECMO application (http://icuECMO.ca) was developed as a resource for residents in Critical Care who are managing patients supported by an Exracorporeal Membrane Oxygenator (ECMO).

It is designed to be mobile-friendly, so it will worrk on smartphones and tablets as well as on desktop computers.

icuECMO was developed by Dr. Alexander White, a Critical Care fellow at Toronto Geeneral Hospial.

This development was done under the supervision of Dr. Eddy Fan. Dr. Fan is an Associate Professor in the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and a Staff Intensivist at the University Health Network/Mount Sinai Hospital. He is currently the Medical Director of the Extracorporeal Life Support Program at the Toronto General Hospital, and the Director of Critical Care Research at the University Health Network/Mount Sinai Hospital.

The design, software development and graphics for the icuECMO web application was provided by the Perioperative Interactive Education (PIE) team in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Tornto General Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Gordon Tait.
