Case description
  • The patient was a 79-year-old male with adenocarcinoma.
  • A tumour was found in the fourth portion of the duodenum.
  • The surgical plan was to divide the third part of the duodenum and the proximal jejunum to remove the tumour.
  • An end-to-end duodenojejunal anastomosis was performed to reconstruct the intestine.
